This is one of my favorite topics to talk about. I love astronomy in general, and whether there are aliens or not just pokes a huge excitement in me. But let’s be real, if I was to choose, I’d say I believe there’s something out there.
The question of whether aliens exist will be there forever. The Universe is super big, which makes it super likely that life exists somewhere else. With billions of galaxies out there, it’s super hard to imagine that we’re alone. Scientists have discovered extremophiles here on Earth, organisms that can live in the harshest conditions, which definitely speaks about the possibility of micro organisms living somewhere else.
Even though we haven’t found direct evidence of extraterrestrial life yet, there are actions like the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) and numerous space exploration missions, we’ve only detected hints of conditions that might support life, such as the discovery of water on Mars or potential biosignatures in the atmospheres of distant planets.
In the end, the answer might come to life with time and technology. We still do not have the tools needed to make such a discovery. Some also argue that if intelligent life does exist, it could be so different from us that we wouldn’t even recognize it as life. Until we get there and discover something, the question of aliens will remain open.
I mean if this falls into a conspiracy theory, then I’d definitely say that Aliens Exist and they already know about us, but are super advanced that we cannot find shit about them. Who knows, they might even be among us.
